2017 Honda Activa 125 launched – upgraded to meet both AHO & BSIV norms

The undisputed leader in automatic scooter segment, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) launched the New 2017 Activa 125 upgraded to meet both Automatic Head Lamp On (AHO) and Bharat Stage-IV emission norms, which the company claims is India’s first automatic scooter to meet the new Government notification effective April 1, 2017.

NEW Variant ➜ Mid variant ‘Alloy wheels with Drum brake’ added to existing two variants.

Design-wise, the 2017 Activa 125 will remain similar to the current model, however, it will gets new LED position lamps located near the turn indicators on the front chrome apron. The new model gains a mobile charging socket as well as a front hook which might come in handy to load some groceries.

Honda has also added new Matte Crust Metallic paint shade to their Activa 125’s palette, which already included 4 colour options: Pearl Amazing White, Midnight Blue Metallic, Black and Rebel Red Metallic.

NEW Features ➜ Mobile charging socket and Retractable front hook for more convenience.

The updated scooter also gets a new mid-variant – featuring a drum brake with alloy wheels setup. Earlier was available just in 2 variants – the drum brakes with steel wheels and the disc brake with alloy wheels.

Prices for the 2017 Activa 125 have been raised by Rs 500. The base variant costs Rs 56,945, while the new mid trim costs Rs 58,900 and the top-spec trim with all the bells and whistles is priced at Rs 61,362 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
