The 2015 Honda Activa 3G has just been launched in India. The best-selling scooter in the nation – for fifteen years in a row – is now in its third-generation, having first been launched way back in 2001. The 2015 updated scooter gets tweaked body panels while the mechanicals remained unchanged.

In terms of changes; the scooter gets re-designed side panel with new air inlets and get 3D ‘Activa’ badging with the 3G suffix, new headlamp, indicators and taillamp. The instrument cluster gets different background design but retains the layout from the current version.

Other existing features on the Activa include the CBS (Combined Braking System), full metal body, tubeless tyres, keylock shutter and maintenance-free battery. It is powered by the same 110cc, air-cooled motor which will deliver a fuel efficiency of 60 kmpl backed by the HET (Honda Eco Technology).
This third-generation Activa 3G is priced at Rs 48,852 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the company said dealer dispatches have already started across India.
