Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has recently introduced a three new colour scheme’s for the popular CBR150R – Jazzy Blue Metallic, Sports Red and Candy Palm Green. However, the bike apart from the three new colours, has got no mechanical changes or power increment.
The CBR150R is looking sportier with the new paint job and body decals. It comes with attractive features like sporty full body fairing, sharp headlight with big pilot lamps, wide tubeless tyres, split-seat, mono shock-suspension and dual disc brakes. Sadly, this new model will only be available in a single variant unlike the previous model which was offered in STD and DLX variants.
The CBR150R is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, having a displacement of 149.4cc allied to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike produces a maximum power of 18.28 bhp at 10,500 rpm and a peak torque of 12.66 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The motorcycle weighs 138 kilos and has a company claimed top speed of 131 kmph.
The 2016 Honda CBR150R is priced at Rs 1,23,183 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and costs Rs 1,35,404 (on-road, Delhi) without including accessories, extended warranty and AMC.
