American cruiser bike manufacturer, Harley Davidson has today launched the all-new Street Glide motorcycle under the its ‘Project Rushmore’ in India. The ‘Project Rushmore’ is a global customer-driven initiative by Harley-Davidson to fundamentally improve every aspect of the touring experience, this initiative introduces a category of leading technology and design enhancements that will recalibrate the expectations of touring motorcyclists.
The all-new 2014 Street Glide comes to India as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU) route in India at a hefty price tag of Rs. 29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be available at all 11 Harley-Davidson® dealerships across the country. The new Street Glide comes with upgrades that include revised styling, a better engine and gearbox, up-rated suspension, linked brakes and a comprehensive infotainment system.
Speaking at the launch of the 2014 Street Glide, Mr. Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson India said –
