If you think we’ve covered all possible angles of the 2014 Fiat Punto Evo (Punto facelift) by now, well, you thought wrong, as here are only pictures of the old and new Punto’s front fascia, snapped side by side by a Team Fiat forum moderator named ‘PaddleShifter’ at a Fiat dealership in Pune(we guess). Wherever that maybe, it tells us the waiting will soon be over. Thus, we can assume that the Punto facelift is almost being close to official launch soon.
Fiat Punto Evo vs Fiat Punto Grande
Looking at the pictures, one can make out that the Punto facelift features a fresh new face inspired from the Fiat Avventura Crossover Concept, showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo. Unlike the Avventura’s sweptback headlights though which have projector beam lamps, these seem to be a conventional multi-focal reflector smoked headlights. The Punto facelift does not get LED DRLs. Furthermore, if you observe clearly the wing mirrors of new Fiat Punto are embedded with clear lens turn blinkers.
Redesigned front bumper gets sporty skirt at chin section, there are chrome decors surrounding grille and fog lamps, and a chrome slat running right across the middle of front grille. A Jaguar-like rounded-square grille and air-dam features honeycombed mesh. The Fiat emblem has been moved up from the grille to the bonnet.
