Fiat has released the first images of an electric version of its iconic mini car, the 500, which will make its debut at the 2012 LA Auto Show later this-month and will go on-sale in California starting early-2013. No details have been released yet but we’ll have more details for you from the 2012 LA Auto Show later this month.
“The all-new battery-electric Fiat 500e brings Italian flavor to the electric vehicle market with a unique combination of iconic 500 design, performance and range,” Fiat said in a statement… and that’s really all they said in the statement.
Once launched, this model will join its fossil-fuelled siblings like the Abarth 500, 500X crossover and the 500L to form the Italian automaker’s largest range from a single model.
