2013 Suzuki Jimny compact 4x4 SUV

The Japanese automaker, Suzuki has launched an updated 2013 Jimny 4×4 vehicle. The 2013 model receives a number of exterior and interior design updates to help modernise appearance whilst maintaining the long established tough and capable reputation Suzuki Jimny has amongst its 20,000 loyal owners in the UK.

The exterior changes include a redesigned front bumper, grille, bonnet and repositioning of fog lamps. The redesigned bonnet provides a series of air intake vents which will help cool the engine efficiently. The company has also increased the length of the SUV by a good 30mm. A new colour Breeze Blue metallic paint is standard on the SZ4 trim.

Interiors boast of new seat baric trim along with ISOFIX child seat mountings. Both SZ3 and SZ4 variants have newly designed front and rear headrests. Child seat mounting affixed will come as standard fittings for this vehicle. Jimny is a compact SUV which possesses superior off-road capabilities as also urban drive functions.

Under the hood, the 1.3-litre petrol engine continues to do duties but has undergone tremendous engine tuning which boost power to 85 PS and generates peak torque of 110Nm. Flat torque technology enables Jimny to easily adapt to any terrain giving this SUV a versatile character. Engine can be coupled to a manual transmission or automatic transmission systems which give fuel ratings of 16.92 kmpl and 16.45 kmpl respectively.
