The German car manufacturer, Porsche has unveiled the most powerful Cayenne trim, with 550bhp, an increase of 50bhp from the existing model and with its advanced active chassis dynamics and the four-wheel drive, the performance of the sports car has certainly gone up. Fuel efficiency is claimed to be the same as the less powerful Turbo trim at 8.71kmpl. The company claims that the SUV will sprint from 0-100kmph in just 4.5 seconds, 0.2 quicker than the old one.
The 2013 Cayenne Turbo S apart from the PASM damping control and air suspension gets PDCC and PTV which improve traction. Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) is also a standard feature, combining torque vectoring on the rear wheels with an electronically controlled rear differential lock to improve traction, thereby increasing agility in every driving situation. The new Cayenne Turbo S is also equipped with the Sport Chrono package as standard.
To distinguish the Turbo S from the Turbo trim, Porsche designers have painted the headlight housings, air inlet grilles and mirrors in gloss black. The 21-inch wheels are standard with coloured Porsche badges were exclusively designed for the Cayenne Turbo S; their inside surfaces are painted in high-gloss black.
Porsche designers created bi-colour leather packages in new colours and colour patterns specifically for the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. These interior features are available in black/carrera red or black/luxor beige colour combinations. The bi-colour leather packages that are reserved for the new top model were extended by adding decorative seams in the contrasting colours carrera red and luxor beige. The Carbon interior package complements the leather features and highlights the sophistication of vehicle and materials.
The deliveries will begin for the new Cayenne from January 2013 with an asking price of Rs 90.82 lakh.
