A Couple of weeks ago we brought to you the spyshots of upcoming 2012 Honda City facelift, now the brochure has been leaked of the same vehicle. Thanks to our friends from AutoinCar to get us the first pics of the new City. The City facelift will be first launched in Thailand.
From the brochure it is visible the car gets new front & rear bumpers, a bigger chrome grille and a tail lamp gets inspired from the City concept shown at an Australian Motor Show in 2008. The wheels have additional spokes, but the interiors remain largely unchanged. The engine will remain unchanged and the new City will be powered by the same 1500 cc, i-VTEC motor which produces 118 PS of power at 6600 RPM and 146 Nm of torque at 4800 RPM.
It is also rumoured to offer sunroof and leather seats in the upgraded City. The Honda City even without a diesel motor is the number one seller in its segment. Even though it doesn’t feature a diesel engine, 1.5-litre diesel engine City is expected to launched by 2013. Honda may give the car a small price hike with the facelift and we can expect the launch in India around Diwali.
