Exclusive – All new Bajaj Pulsar range could be unveiled on 30th January 2012

Everybody knows Bajaj the no.1 bike seller company of India is going to launch the dashing and the amazing model of all new Pulsar 2012 model. However, the Bajaj has not unveiled its beast at Expo this year and now in the interview with MoneyControl, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, the Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, revealed that on 24th of this month, the KTM Duke 200 will be launched and that is something that we all know. But Bajaj also made a big revelation when he said that Bajaj Auto plans to reveal another big product on the 30th of January, 2012.

Like the KTM Duke 200, Bajaj will unveil the all new Pulsar in an event scheduled for the 30th of January, 2012 which will give to a bunch of media folks for a first ride at the event and will be launched in the next 3-4 months. It will be completely new from ground-up and will feature new engine technology. The all new 2012 Pulsar will sit below the Duke 200 and both these motorcycles will be instrumental in Bajaj gunning for higher marketshare. So, expect super competitive pricing, a hallmark of all Bajaj products.

Adding to the Buzz, Motorbeam reader Aryan said he spotted the new Bajaj Discover and next generation Bajaj Pulsar being tested near Akrudi-Chakan road in Pune at night during the Auto Expo event. The bikes were totally undisguised, might be the company taking advantage of the Auto Expo as everyone’s attention is diverted towards the event. The bikes are being tested at night to prevent people from spotting and snapping it. The Pulsar which Aryan spotted had disc brakes at the rear as well. The engine is liquid cooled and had KTM Racing written on it. The bike featured Mono suspension, silencer similar to the KTM Duke, headlamps similar to the Yamaha FZ16, large radiator and tail lights similar to the current Pulsar. But no details of new Bajaj Discover mentioned.
