As per the imports, Yamaha might launch the R3 instead of R25 in the Indian market this year.
Yamaha R3 would feature parallel twin-cylinder layout, comfortable riding position, clip-on handlebars, digital speedometer, telescopic forks at the front, swing arm at the rear and ABS would be offered as standard. Coming to the technical specifications, Yamaha R3 would be powered with a 321cc, two-cylinder engine coupled to six speed transmission producing a maximum power of 42 PS at a maximum torque of 29.6 NM. Yamaha R3 would in fact also use technologies such as low friction and forged pistons, carburized conrods and direct drive cam shaft.
