The Yamaha R15 has had a very successful time in India. Dubbed as the baby R1 when launched almost a decade ago, this flagship model from Yamaha has overcome intense competition from rivals and has carved out a niche for itself in the cut throat motorcycle market in India.
Over the years, Yamaha has sold over 7 lakh units of the bike and the bike is still going strong showing that experience matters even when its rivals tried other plans and failed in doing so. Autologue Design has bought up a concept by which you could make the R15 your entire neighborhoods envy.
This customised R15 looks nothing short of the Yamaha R6, sold internationally. This unofficial body kit from Pune-based Autologue Designs is an imported kit from Indonesia, with prices for the fairing conversion kit costs a total of Rs. 25,000. The kit does not affect the specifications of the bike engine, which produces 17 BHP of power at 8500 RPM and 15 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM, with a displacement of 149cc having a 6-speed gearbox.
The features of the customized bike will include a Delta-box frame, LED taillights, monocross suspension and swing arm made of aluminium. This model is expected to become a cult status for the youth, who prefer internationally inherited and inspired bikes in today’s world.
