Yamaha is working hard to introduce its new range of vehicles globally. Yamaha’s range of scooters is just like the range of performance bikes offered by them in the global market. Currently having more than 30 models of scooters in the European market ranging from a tiny 50cc to a powerful 530cc engine, Yamaha yet again introduces a light, compact automatic scooter named Yamaha D’elight in the European market.
The all-new D’elight features circular headlamps with chrome surrounds mounted on the handle bars, smooth and curvy body panels, telescopic front forks, three-spoke alloy wheels, front disc, sleek turn indicators, open glove compartment and under seat storage capacity big enough to store a half face helmet. In addition to this, the light weight scooter offers a small turning radius of 1.8m along with a low seat height of 755mm.
Coming to the technical specifications, D’elight is powered by an 114cc air cooled 4-stroke YMJET-FI (Yamaha Mixture Jet-Fuel Injection) engine which produces a maximum torque of 7.7 Nm and information regarding the power output is not yet available. Yamaha’s D’elight is priced at 1,799 Pounds (around 1.64 lakhs INR) in the UK market.
