If you know your city best, you can win an all new Ford EcoSport SUV. This is the first debut marketing initiative by the car maker to promote its just-to-be-launched compact SUV. As it is an urban SUV, Ford has specifically planned an EcoSport Urban Discoveries Campaign to woo people to come and explore the car while letting the world know more about their own city. A website for this has also been launched and entries for the content are accepted there. This promotional event will take place in over 12 cities of the country where the Ecosport will be displayed ahead of its official launch. This will give a chance to people to explore the SUV that they have been hearing about since its announcement at the Auto Expo in 2012.
Notably, it is only a day after the Union Budget that all the car makers have come into action and are getting their new car launch plans get going. Among all the launches ahead, the EcoSport launch is the most anticipated one as per a recent survey. The promotional campaign aims at giving a chance to people to explore the SUV as well as show their discovery of the city to the people world over. As per the details available, in order to take part in the event participants of these 12 cities need to discover some unique, uncommon and interesting place in their city (note – it should be a discovery) and upload the details of the same on the official website of the Ford Campaign. All these uploads and ‘discoveries’ will be evaluated by a jury that will decide the names of 35 participants who will enter the second phase.
In the second phase these 35 participants will each add two more members to form a team of three. Each of these teams will be having one Ecosport in which they will further explore or discover their city. Meanwhile, this event will be shared on online platform and thus each team will be gathering support from family friends and others. Thus the team that gathers most followers will win. The team lead will get the EcoSport while the two team members get international holiday packages. For ten lucky followers of the winning team Ford will be giving iPads.
