The Polo and Vento both have been around for quite some time now. Volkswagen India has done their best to keep the cars fresh, by launching updates and refreshes.
Now just few days ahead of the launch of their new car Ameo, which will be positioned above Polo and below Vento, the company has launched limited edition versions of the Polo and Vento named the Polo Select & Vento Celeste respectively. In order to keep the sales going strong and also to build a brand image for themselves.
Both the limited edition cars comes with exterior and interior upgrades, and are exclusively available only on the top-spec Highline trim of Polo manual, Vento manual and Vento DSG. The prices of these limited editions will vary depending on the dealer and city. The prices mentioned here are sourced from a dealer in Mumbai.
- Vento Celeste Petrol (Manual) – Rs. 10.26 lakh
- Vento Celeste Petrol (Automatic) – Rs. 11.55 lakh
- Vento Celeste Diesel (Manual) – Rs 11.61 lakh
- Vento Celeste Diesel (Automatic) – Rs 12.87 lakh
- Polo Select Petrol (Manual) – Rs. 8.66 lakh
- Polo Select Diesel (Manual) – Rs 7.13 lakh
Apart from carrying all the features from the Polo Highline, the Polo Select will get few additional features like Blaupunkt touch-screen infotainment system with navigation, detachable window blinds, carbon-finished centre console and ORVMs, textile mats, a black vinyl roof and a boot lip spoiler. It will be sold for Rs 45,000+taxes over the regular Polo Highline.
In addition to the features present on the Vento Highline, the Vento Celeste gets detachable window blinds, carbon-finished centre console and ORVMs, textile mats, a black vinyl roof, four scuff plates, new seat covers with the VW logo and a trunk garnish. It will cost an additional Rs 16,000 over the regular Vento Highline.
