TVS Motors unveiled the X-21 Racer concept at the Auto-Expo 2016. The X-21 is based on the latest edition of the Apache RTR 200 4V which was recently launched.
The X-21`s semi-faired styling and the ergonomics are designed to enhance the racing the experience and has been designed in-house by TVS Motors. Powering the X-21 concept is a race tuned 4-valves 212.4 cc single-cylinder engine with a Single Over Head Camshaft (SOHC), with twin oil-cooler for more efficient oil circulation and cooling. For better air-fuel mixture the engine is equipped with twin straight flow air filters, and is connected to a twin free flow exhaust.
The X-21 features a lightweight and compact frame, front telescopic fork, and rear gas-filled monoshock suspension on swingarm, steering damper, race levers along with special race-specific components. The instrument cluster features a digital speedometer, tachometer, trip meter, clock, lap timing, acceleration timing and similar modes for performance tuning.
Although, the design and styling meets the demand of the youth but X-21 is just a concept and may never hit the production line.
