The Mercedes-Benz F125 was one of the most outstanding concepts seen at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. It was recently reported that the F125 Concept hints at the future of an electric S-Class sedan.

Refresher – Power for the Mercedes-Benz F125 Concept comes from the fuel cell stack that was demoed in the B-Class F-CELL World Drive this year. Of course, Mercedes-Benz improved the performance, consumption and power for four electric motors installed near the wheels – creating a e4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. That gives the Mercedes-Benz F125 a continuous output of 231-hp and a peak output of 313-hp. At wheel torque comes in at 2,536 lb-ft. 0 to 100kph in takes 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 220 kph. On a full charge of its lithium-sulphur battery and a full tank, the Mercedes-Benz F125 Concept can travel a total range of 1000 kilometres.
