TVS Motor Company files for Ronin trademark

In India, TVS Motor Company has filed a trademark claim for ‘TVS Ronin.’ It is unclear as to which upcoming bike from the company would get this name.

There’s a strong possibility that the ‘TVS Ronin’ trademark would be given to the naked version of the Apache RR310 that will compete head-on with the Bajaj Dominar 400.

Hosur-based bike maker is reportedly working on a new motorcycle based on the 310 architecture, underpinning the range of motorcycles Apache RR310 and BMW G310. A trusted report suggests that the upcoming new model is likely be a naked version of the Apache RR310 which could be positioned as a rival to the Bajaj Dominar 400.

Many speculations regarding what kind of a motorcycle would the TVS Ronin be are being made.

The reports also suggest TVS Motor Company might be working on a new model of the cruiser. It could be a production version of the Zeppelin TVS concept that was unveiled at 2018 Auto Expo. Furthermore, the company is already working on a dual-sport model inspired by the G310 GS for sometime now.

There’s also the chance that a new TVS scooter would get the name Ronin.
