TVS Motors alongside the X-21 Racer concept and the Akula 310 concept, also showcased its all-new TVS ENTORQ210 Scooter Concept at the recently held 2016 Auto Expo in Greater Noida.
The ENTORQ210 is built on an all-new next generation ‘Platform Technology’ which combines a lightweight high-grade steel chassis with inverted front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension to give dynamic control at all speeds. Riding on large wheels with radial tubeless tyres, it enables a true crossover performance having a motorcycle-like ride quality and the comfort of a scooter.
Being developed in-house from scratch, the ENTORQ210 is a premium touring scooter concept that has the capability to cruise on the highway at a high speed, while its easy to ride in the city as well. This concept not only envisions their two-wheelers future designs, but also showcases the company’s technological capabilities. It will form the basis of their upcoming scooters in the future.
Under the skin sits an all-aluminium 212.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel injected engine, mated to an advanced Variomatic transmission system which can propel the scooter to a top speed of 120 km per hour. Stopping power comes from Roto-petal dual brake discs with ABS ensure confident and safe braking in every road condition. The fuel tank capacity is a large 8.5-liter for an uninterrupted long haul.
TVS Racing has given the front an aerodynamic design, which reduces wind blast and consequently rider fatigue. Other noteworthy features include an advanced LED lighting system, first-in-class intelligent smartphone integration with GPS navigation and online connectivity, smart key, multifunction TFT instrument console, push button for start/stop, long and broad floor-board encourages a forward feet position for rider, thus providing better riding dynamics. Further gets large under-seat lockable storage.
