TVS Motor Company have launched the White Race Edition of their popular motorcycle, the Apache RTR 160. It will be launched in two variants, namely a front disc and rear drum and another a dual disc brake version. This will feature some new graphics in the exterior and minimal changes.
TVS will roll this bike in a phase-wise manner across India. It will feature stickers of TVS Racing and the RTR 160 logo at the rear. This bike will also feature Black alloy wheels, petal disc brakes at the front, telescopic front suspension and so on.
As far as the engine is concerned, the Apache RTR 160 White Race Edition will employ the same 159.7cc single cylinder engine seen on the normal Apache. This engine is capable of delivering 15 BHP of power and 13 Nm of Torque. It will come mated to a 5-speed Transmission.
The design is entirely borrowed from the previous-generation Apache with TVS to keep it alive. TVS did launch the next-generation Apache recently and will also look to launch an electric version in the near future. With the new white colour, the Apache RTR 160 will be available in seven different colour options.
TVS launched the Apache RTR 160 White Race Edition at a sticker price of Rs. 79,715 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This bike will have its rival in the form of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG5 and the Honda X-blade. With this bike TVS will aim for those who want to have performance at a budget price.
