Here we go, leaked document reveal the name of the upcoming TVS Akula 310 as ‘TVS Apache RR 310S’, and we may see it at dealers in the second half of 2017.
Many bike enthusiasts thought that the flagship TVS motorcycle will get ‘Akula’ branding like Bajaj’s flagship model ‘Dominar’ that was much-rumoured to get Pulsar branding before launch. But here its opposite, TVS Motors have decided to go ahead with ‘Apache’ branding on the production-spec Akula. The Apache RR 310S is scheduled for Indian market launch by July-2017.
Inching closer to production, two heavily camouflaged test mules with production-ready body panels were captured in video taken by a 2017 KTM 390 Duke rider (Purush D Man) from Facebook page BlackHawk Bikers Club. The video reveals that the test mules were cruising at high speeds of 120+ KMPH. Coincidentally, both motorcycles on the film are head-to-head competitor in the real scenario.

The TVS Apache RR 310S will be produced at the company’s plant in Hosur, and the exhaust note is expected to be similar with stronger bass as the rest of the Apache family.
