Toyota have officially launched the 2018 version of their Etios Liva hatchback to the Indian market. The car gets a dual-tone paint scheme, which Toyota claims is factory-built. This makes them the first in their segment to launch such a product in the market.
2018 Dual-Tone Toyota Etios Liva is available in 3 colors: Inferno Orange (New), Vermilion Red, Super White (Ultramarine Blue is discontinued).
Toyota have added quite a few features on the 2018 Etios Liva. These include 15-inch diamond cut alloys, rear roof spoiler, dual tone seat fabric, Bluetooth audio and so on. It also sports a black paint finish on the roof, pillars and ORVM’s, with the body colour being offered in three options namely Vermillion Red, Inferno Orange and Super White.
On the inside, it features a new wood finish and dual-tone fabric. The 2018 Etios Liva gets additional safety features such as dual front SRS airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat locks. Engine-wise, the 2018 Etios Liva will be offered in both 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engine, offering 18.16 KMPL and 23.59 KMPL respectively.
Compared to the regular Etios Live, the Dual-Tone spec gets gloss black grill, gloss black finish for the roof and ORVMs, roof spoiler, and two-tone 10-spoke 15-inch diamond cut alloys.
The petrol engine will be a 1.2-litre motor generating 79 BHP of power and 104 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 1.4-litre diesel engine will produce 67 BHP of power and 170 Nm of torque. Both of them will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Prices for the 2018 Etios Liva start from Rs.5,94,535 to Rs.6,44,861 for the petrol and from Rs.7,24,361 to Rs.7,61,403 for the diesel variant. With the 2018 Etios Liva, Toyota are looking to appeal to the younger set of buyers, who also consider safety to be their priority.
