Toyota India has launched yet another limited edition variant of Toyota Corolla Altis to mark the 10th Anniversary of the car in India, earlier in June-2012 the company introduced the Corolla Altis Aero limited edition. . The new edition is offered in only lower trim of Corolla Altis sedan – the Corolla J – that makes these trims more value for money.
On the exterior, the festive edition Corolla Altis include newly designed grille, new rear bumper, new rear combination lamp, and a limited edition badge at the rear. Inside the car, it gets beige interior, four-spoke steering wheel, 5.8 inches touchscreen DVD system, driver and passenger airbags and a new keyless entry, helping it become a more feature-rich car than before.
Apart from Corolla, the company recently launched the Limited edition Toyota Innova Aero, Etios TRD Sportivo and Etios Liva TRD Sportivo, is now all set to launch the limited edition of its popular premium SUV, the Fortuner as well soon. While the existing special edition will be enabling the Corolla Altis range to compete more promptly with its rivals, the company is also planning to roll-out a new generation version of this model in India by next year.
The limited edition Altis has been made available in both petrol and diesel variants at a starting price of Rs 11.45 lakh for petrol variant and Rs 12.84 lakh for diesel variant respectively (all prices ex-showroom, Mumbai). The regular Corolla 1.8J is priced at Rs. 11.05 lakhs for petrol variant, while the D-4D J variant is priced at Rs. 12.06 lakhs for diesel variant. Thus the premium is Rs. 40,000/- on the petrol and Rs. 78,000/- on the diesel.
