Yesterday, we brought you the firstever images of Toyota Corolla Altis Aero Limited Edition spotted at a dealer’s backyard. Surprisingly today Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) has launched a limited edition version of the Corolla Altis Aero, to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Corolla in India. Only 500 units will be offered, priced at Rs 11.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The special Corolla Altis Aero Limited edition comes with a host of cosmetic upgrades and features added to the Aero trim are new front and rear spoilers, smoked tail lamps, chrome finished muffler cutter, aero emblem, seven spoke alloy wheels and dual tone fabric seats with the Aero logo on them.
Engine specification remains identical based on the existing Euro IV J grade 1.8 L petrol variant which produces 138 BHP of peak power output at 6400 RPM and 173 Nm of peak torque output at 4000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
As we said, only 500 units of the Aero will be made and are currently on-sale at all Toyota dealerships in India and it will be on-sale till September-2012. The company officials have promised that based on the demand, they will also bring out a limited edition Aero diesel trim.

Its aerodynamic design and new features lends it a sporty appearance. It is a perfect combination of attractive design and powerful functioning. Corolla Altis Aero is being introduced in petrol variant only. Based on the demand we will introduce the diesel variant as well. 500 exclusive units of the Corolla Altis Aero will be on sale till Sept 2012. The vehicles are on display at our dealerships from today.”
What we say? This is in an effort to clear stocks of the 500 petrol Corollas that were sitting at the factory stockyard in the form of Toyota Corolla Altis Aero Limited Edition.
