Last-week, Audi India launched the special version of the A4 sedan called the Celebration Edition for Rs 25.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India), which is around Rs. 2.5 lakh lesser than the original entry level model. Although its called a Celebration Edition, the main feature of the new A4 edition is that it is less on features, and is more like a Corporate Edition. While the A4 Celebration Edition is limited in numbers and the only available in white color, the features you will find missing include sunroof, cruise control, wood trimmed dashboard, power folding wing mirrors, manual adjustment for front passenger seat, and 16″ alloys instead of the 17″ alloys.

Developed on similar lines as that of the Q3 S, and launches a day after Mercedes-Benz launched its special C-Class ‘Edition-C’ car. To pare down costs, the Audi A4 Celebration Edition will not have a quattro all-wheel-drive system and will get a de-tuned version of the 2.0-liter TDI engine. This motor has a max power of 143 bhp and peak torque of 320 Nm. This engine is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox that drives the front wheels of the car. The A4 equipped with this engine hits a top speed of 210 Kph, with a 0-100 Kph run in 9.1 seconds. The fuel economy too has gone better with the A4 Celebration Edition, it now returns an impressive average mileage of 16.55 Kmpl.
