With recent update both the Tata Tiago and Tigor comes equipped with the ABS as standard across the range – making the cars more safer. Apart from this, along with ABS, the Tiago and Tigor also come with EBD & Corner Stability Control which is unheard of in this segment.
Tata Tiago and Tata Tigor units manufactured from January-2019 are equipped with ABS as standard.
The Tata Tiago is available in XE, XM, XT/XTA, XZ/XZA and XZ+ grades. In the units manufactured at the end of last year, only the XZ/XZA and XZ+ grades include ABS. The Tata Tigor range comprises five grades: XE, XM, XZ, XZA and XZ+. Only the XZ, XZA and XZ+ grades of the sub-4-metre sedan feature this safety equipment in the units produced at the end of last year.
However, the increased safety isn’t a gift from the home-grown car maker, instead the prices have gone up by some margin.
In Tata Motors line-up, the Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, Hexa & Harrier are the models now features ABS as standard.
