They are deceptively attractive only visually. The exchange benefits can come in handy if an old car is exchanged for a new one. Similarly, the consumers are usually given an ample option on the car accessories to choose from. This is a red herring from the manufacturer to ramp up their sales.

Car makers had predicted a slowdown in the second half of this year but even the festive rush was not enough to boost sales. Rising fuel prices and the hike in interest rates have been the main drivers of this slow down. Moreover, customers who are on a look out for their first ever car might find this an ideal time for his dream to realise. Most of the consumers usually defer their purchases to the upcoming year to have a strong resale value which counts from the year of purchase.
