Time for celebration for Tata Motors! Tata Motors India has just touched the mark of selling four lakh sedan cars in the country Tata Indigo first launched in 2002 has been a very successful model from Tata Motors. The car has seen different avatars since launch.
From the year of 2000, numerous kinds of sedan cars came in the market, but Tata made sure that its sedan made impressive sales, which could give them a reason to celebrate.
Tata Motors launched the Indigo Marina, Indigo XL (India’s first long wheelbase sedan), Indigo CS (India’s first compact sedan) and in the year of 2009, Tata Motors expanded its Indigo range by adding on Tata Manza that comes in both diesel engine and petrol engine. Tata Indigo Manza supported Tata in accelerating the car sales by 5 lakh units since the launch. As per latest info, Tata is also working on a new Manza compact sedan which will replace the existing Indigo CS.
