Tata Motors will give their flagship SUV, the Harrier a 5-year/unlimited kilometer warranty. This warranty will be offered as an option and will be available on the Harrier. The new warranty package will be available with a few benefits.
One such benefit will be the maintainance cost of clutch and suspension to be covered till 50,000. Named the Pentacare warranty package, it will be available at a price of Rs. 25,960 within 90 days of its purchase. The Harrier is currently offered in a 2-year/unlimited kilometer warranty package.
This comes days after Tata Motors launched the Dark Edition of the Harrier. The Dark Edition Harrier will also be applicable under this package. It receives changes such as leather upholstery, a new gunmetal grey chrome interior pack and a Blackstone Matrix dashboard.
The Dark Edition Harrier is expected to improve the sales numbers of the Harrier. Pentacare package will cover maintainance services of the engine, air-conditioning system, fuel pump and fuel system to name a few. The Harrier comes powered by a 2.0 litre Kryotec diesel motor.
This motor produces 138 BHP of power and 350 Nm of torque. The Harrier rivals the likes of the Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Nissan Kicks and the Hyundai Creta in the popular mid-size SUV segment. Tata Motors will hope that the Harrier will bring some delight to them before the upcoming festive season.
