Indian Autos Blog reader, Mr. Ramdas, has just sent them a rendering of the Honda Amaze facelift which could launch next year in an attempt to keep the compact sedan a fresh one.
The 2016 Amaze facelift speculate rendering with Jazz-styled front grille.
Another double slat chrome grille gives the compact car a better appearance courtesy of a new front bumper and new fog lamps. While Honda has not launched or announced a facelift for the Brio or Amaze, a midlife intercession is normal at some point one year from now (the Amaze was propelled in the Indian market in April 2013) as a few new players including Ford and Volkswagen would have launched compact sedans by then.
Honda has been aware of keeping the Amaze fresh by presenting minor redesigns. A touchscreen infotainment system, upgraded wing mirrors and the choice of a CNG variation were presented on the Amaze this year.
The Amaze keeps on bringing strong volumes for Honda Cars India with normal month to month sales of about 5,558 units/month. The compact car is powered by the choice of a 1.2-liter petrol motor or a 1.5-liter diesel motor. The petrol variation, which makes 88 PS and 109 Nm of torque is mated to 5-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The diesel propelled Amaze, churns out 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque, alongside an ARAI-appraised mileage of 25.8 kmpl.
