Tata Aria 4X2 scheduled for 2nd August, 2011

As we reported earlier, Tata dealers have already begun accepting the bookings for the 4X2 Tata Aria. Now according to Motorbeam, Tata Aria 4X2 is scheduled for 2nd August, 2011. Tata Aria 4×2 will only be available at the base variant which is the Pleasure variant and will feature airbags, ABS, dual AC, projector headlights, steering mounted audio controls, etc…

The Aria 4×2 will be available in new stripped down versions and will be priced around Rs. 60,000-100,000/- cheaper than the 4×4 variant. Currently the Pleasure is the base variant in the Aria and there is news that the Crossover could be launched in cheaper versions.

To cut off the price of Tata Aria, the company have altered many features to bring it an equivalent price of Toyota Innova, 4×2 wheel drive instead of current 4×4 is one of them. The current Aria is Rs 2-3 lakh costlier than the segment leader Toyota Innova.
