A stockyard full of hatchbacks from Tata Altroz has been spotted indicating the second batch of dealer dispatches could be on its way.
The new Altroz will be equipped with petrol and diesel engines compatible with BS6. The naturally aspirated 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 85 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm @ 3,300 rpm. The 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine puts out 89 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm @ 1,250-3,000 rpm. A turbocharged petrol engine and an automatic gearbox will not be available on offer for now.
The Tata Altroz is scheduled to be launched on January 22, 2020, according to a media report. Initially, only 1 dual-tone color option (red with black roof) could be offered on the car. It is expected to be priced in between Rs. 5.5-9.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
