Bajaj Pulsar NS200 given the adventure look, made into a marbel

Bajaj Auto have brought back the Pulsar NS200 to the Indian market not long ago, and the model is selling decently on its return. Being a sports bike, you expect it to give some adventure along with practicality. But what happens when the NS200 is transformed into an adventure bike.

Bengaluru based scienty Kraft have made it into reality. They have given the Pulsar NS200 a rather more sportier look, albeit with a bit more equipment. On first glance, the NS200 looks like Truimph Tiger 800, but it has also close links with the AS200 it replaced.

The modified bike features a headlight guard, full-size crash guard and a skid plate at the bottom. Handlebars for the bike are from the KTM Duke 390, which also was currently launched in the market. Other additional features include an adjustable windscreen and a pillion backrest, with saddle stays on the sides.

The weight of the bike gets affected by 12kg and this may not be a big thing for its owners. But the performance remains the same on a stock Bajaj Pulsar NS200, given 23.5 BHP power and 18.3 Nm of torque. It is safe to say that the NS200 looks like it is made into a marvel.

Maruti Swift given the Nissan GT-R treatment, and it looks fabulous

Maruti’s super successful Swift has been in our market for more than a decade now,and has tasted success for a long time. Even as the company is preparing to launch the next generation Swift, demand for the existing model is just as strong as it was. And if you are tired of seeing many of the Swift on-road, here’s one solution to keep your Swift different from others.

O2 garage has made the regular Swift, which is on-sale here currently, look-like the Nissan GTR. The GTR inspired fascia, which is reminiscent of the (Godzilla), is the solution. You can get the body kit, which involves a new bumper with integrated LED strips, a front lip spoiler and large 17-inch alloy wheels.

There is also an electric sunroof on offer from a garage, not seen in the stock Swift. Even the rear is given an unique identity, with a smoked-out tail lamps, fixed wing, and quad exhaust pipes. While there are no mechanical changes, it continues to use the same 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine giving 84.3 BHP of power and 115 Nm of torque.

While the engine specifications are no where near to that of the GT-R, the Swift does make-up with its superb handling with almost matches the ‘Godzilla’ on performance. Even the fact that the handling of the Swifts have never come out into doubt during its tenure here and it is the most affordable “performance” hatch in our country. Expect the new Swift to be as sharp as the current one and of course, people to notice the GT-R look.

BMW 5-series tries hard to be a Chevrolet Camaro

The BMW 5-Series is a car which has a great affinity for India. An executive sedan by nature, it is the company’s second best-selling model and is respected due to its good performance what if the car is made to look-like another International Icon?

Well, the International Icon is none other than the Chevrolet Camaro. The Bumblebee has a huge fan following even here in India, a market in which it has not been launched so far, As mentioned above, this modified BMW 5-Series is a clone to the Chevrolet Camaro, which gives a former a bulky look just like the latter.

Mumbai-based Road Rage Custom Builds, a vehicle customization and remodeling company, has to be given credit for this piece of work. The BMW badge is exchanged for a custom-built RRCB logo with modifications to front and rear bumpers. A new mesh and designer bonnet surround the front grille with a fearful shade of red and black, which has given a menacing look.

The front fenders have been extended a new air-vent has also been added. Other notable exterior attractions include the Adidas logo on the C-pillar and a shark fin antenna. Yamaha SZ customised into a cool dual-purpose motorcycle

The Yamaha SZ is surely one of the most underrated motorcycles in our country today. Launched in 2010, the SZ marked Yamaha’s entry to the power-commuter market. And over the years, it has been outsold by the even more expensive and brawny FZ series, not worth its value for money tag since its launch.

These pictures are of the customized machine that looks extremely marvelous compared to its slow selling sibling. The motorcycle here, after suffering a minor crash, went an update and came out as a looker. Factory installed parts like the foot rest, stock battery holder and plastics were replaced by superior quality materials like aluminium foot rest, battery cover and newer handle bars.

One of the most significant part of the customized bike is the headlight, taken from an Eicher truck and dual-purpose tyres consisting of a large disc brake. The rear mud guard was taken off to give way to rear LED blinkers and an aluminium under-seat tray. Even a grab rail was installed in order to store things.

A redesigned seat with coarse grain fabric was chosen to minimize sliding while breaking. The stock SZs sporty and street fighter like demeanor looks even more appealing with this customized sibling. This looks like a bike that will welcome its rather commuter-minded buyer to the world of power biking.

The  Maruti Vitara Brezza was launched amid much fanfare on April-2016. Since its launch, the sales of this car quickly went on to become the Top Selling SUV in our country. But, despite its Zooming sales, this car is one which appeals more to the head than the heart.

This car in pictures is the one undergone a makeover by DC Design, known for its fantastic designs on cars, has transformed a stylish sibling of the Brezza. The body kit features a flashy, sculpted bumper, LED DRL’s and a large grille with mesh detailing reminiscent of DC’s other modified cars.

Adding attraction to the rear profile is the modified bumper with false air intakes matching the ones at the front along with flashy chrome quad exhaust tips. The rear chrome embellishment has been replaced body-coloured ones with the DC badging.

The cabin of the DC badged Vitara Brezza is even more appealing. This car features a two-toned dashboard of yellow and black with leather seat and door cars, with contrast yellow stitchings. The glossy wooden inserts on the horn pad, the side AC vents and the door panels, looks unique for a car of its class.

Thankfully, the folks at DC have not touched its mechanicals, it continues to run on a 1.3L DDiS 4-cyl diesel engine making 90 PS and 200 Nm mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, however, you can remap the engine for more power at the custom tuning shop. There are reports that Maruti is planning to launch a petrol and automatic variants of Brezza.

The introduction of new variants will not only increase the sales further, but also lock-horns for the increasing competition from its upcoming rivals Tata Nexon, and of course, the facelifted Ford EcoSport, moreover, the news about the introduction of 1.0-litre Boosterjet petrol engine for the Vitara Brezza could make the battle more interesting.

Honda Unicorn 150 gets Scrambler Avatar from Furious Customs

The Honda Unicorn is by no means a bike that will grab attention. Yes, Honda played it safe when they launched this bike way back in 2004, at a time when the 150cc segment was in a maturing phase. Almost half a decade down the line, enthusiasts are still bored of its design which today remains very basic and conservative.

But, these pictures of the customized Unicorn 150 will make you forget the design of the original bike and admire the bike’s ‘Ready for Action’ stance.

This bike has been modified by Kolhapur-based Furious Customs, which gave the Honda bike some much needed flair in a bold new avatar. The bike looks very attractive, dominated by a well carved out fuel-tank which reminds us of the Triumph Bonneville. The rear fender is fitted to the seat to give it an off-road character. The tyres, sourced from Ralco, are a great fit and consist of a disc brake in the front wheel and drum brakes at the rear wheels.

The headlamp and tail lamps are customized as well, and the handle bars and side panels are surprisingly hand-made. The engine is the same smooth flowing one which does its duty on the stock Unicorn 150, giving a healthy 12.73 bhp of power and 12.80 Nm of torque, with an air-cooled 149.2 cc motor.

This Scrambler version of Honda Unicorn will have the ability to take on the tarmac and the adventure trail with ease. Expect the motorcycle to pose a tough challenge to other Scrambler bikes and strike a chord among the youth, who have been waiting for Scrambler bikes with an affordable price tag to be launched here in the near future.
