Maruti Swift given the Nissan GT-R treatment, and it looks fabulous

Maruti’s super successful Swift has been in our market for more than a decade now,and has tasted success for a long time. Even as the company is preparing to launch the next generation Swift, demand for the existing model is just as strong as it was. And if you are tired of seeing many of the Swift on-road, here’s one solution to keep your Swift different from others.

O2 garage has made the regular Swift, which is on-sale here currently, look-like the Nissan GTR. The GTR inspired fascia, which is reminiscent of the (Godzilla), is the solution. You can get the body kit, which involves a new bumper with integrated LED strips, a front lip spoiler and large 17-inch alloy wheels.

There is also an electric sunroof on offer from a garage, not seen in the stock Swift. Even the rear is given an unique identity, with a smoked-out tail lamps, fixed wing, and quad exhaust pipes. While there are no mechanical changes, it continues to use the same 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine giving 84.3 BHP of power and 115 Nm of torque.

While the engine specifications are no where near to that of the GT-R, the Swift does make-up with its superb handling with almost matches the ‘Godzilla’ on performance. Even the fact that the handling of the Swifts have never come out into doubt during its tenure here and it is the most affordable “performance” hatch in our country. Expect the new Swift to be as sharp as the current one and of course, people to notice the GT-R look.
