Japanese bike manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycles India today launched the much-awaited LET’S 110cc scooter in Chennai at a price of Rs. Rs. 46,925 (Ex-showroom, Chennai). The Let’s scooter was first unveiled in January-2014 in Mumbai by famous actress Parineeti Chopra as she is its brand ambassador, and then at the 2014 Auto Expo in February along with Gixxer 155 motorcycle.

The bookings for the scooter had already commenced last-month. The Let’s 110 cc scooter will be positioned and priced below the Access and Swish (which are both 125 cc scooters). It is the first two-wheeler from Suzuki for the 110cc segment and will directly compete with the likes of Honda Activa, Honda Active-i, Yamaha Alpha, TVS Jupiter, TVS Wego and Hero Maestro.

The practical, light and fast scooter aimed at urban youth looking for styling, economy comes equipped an air-cooled 112.8 cc engine producing 8.7 hp at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, matched to an automatic transmission. Suzuki claims an impressive ARAI certified mileage of 63 kmpl. It has a good ground clearance of 160mm for a bump-free ride and a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 liters along with a weight of just 98kgs.

Suzuki Let’s is available in a single variant in five beautiful shades which includes Pearl Mira Red, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Sonic Silver, Pearl Mirage White and Metallic Triton Blue.
