The facelifted Fiat Linea has yet again been spotted testing in India, thanks to recent spy shots obtained by our friends at Rushlane.com. These set of spy shots gives us a detailed description of all the changes to be featured in the new facelifted Fiat Linea which could be launched by the 2014 Auto Expo.
Coming to the changes, the facelifted Fiat Linea would feature new front grille and logo, new front bumper layout, re-positioned rear number plate from the rear bumper to a newly built boot lid, new dashboard and instrument clusters, new set of reflectors mounted in the rear bumper and also new head lights.
As per the reports obtained from IndianAutosBlog, Fiat India’s Managing Director, Nagesh Basavanhalli, said “how the brand would position the current Linea (which will be called as the Linea Classic once the facelift is launched) along with the refreshed Linea (which would be called the 2014 Fiat Linea)”.
Coming to the technical specifications, the facelifted Fiat would be powered with a 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged petrol engine and also not being sure of what would happen with the current 1.4-litre petrol engine. The diesel variant of the facelifted Linea would be either available in a 1.3-litre MultiJet engine producing power of around 90bhp or the larger 1.6-litre MultiJet engine producing a power of 105bhp.
