The new Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept is scheduled to make its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next week. But before the curtains come apart and the concept takes the center stage, the folks at Land Rover decided to take their latest creation out for a photo shoot.
Of course, you can’t be top secret when you go out for a photo shoot, so some people manage to click a pic of the Evoque Convertible Concept – spotted by Carscoop reader and shared by a person in Twitter.
The soft-top, four-seat convertible concept features a fully retractable roof system wdith a roll-over protection system. The Evoque’s rising waist line and distinctive shape has been retained and the new convertible body style has been achieved with minimal changes to weight and torsional rigidity. The hood is housed in a tapered finisher with the roof mechanism stowed below the belt-line.
Inside, the concept is packed with the Evoque’s technology including Terrain Response, surround cameras, Park Assist and class leading infotainment featuring an 8-inch dual view touch screen and a sound system from British audio experts, Meridian. The Evoque convertible concept features unique 21-inch Titan silver wheels and is finished in a new metallic Causeway Grey paint.
The four-seater Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept will be making its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next week, and will only enter production if it generates enough positive reaction from show goers.
