Earlier this month, we showcased a spy pictures of the upcoming Mahindra Verito facelift spotted by AutoCarIndia. Now the member of popular forum (Team-BHP) named MAS has spotted the same testing heavily camouflaged at Guduvanchery on NH45. Now it is evident that it is not the CS version but a facelift for the existing sedan. The facelift is being given to the Verito to keep the popularity alive as this is the only offering by Mahindra in the sedan segment.
From the spy pictures, the Mahindra Verito facelift features a new front fascia with XUV-styled front grill, new headlamps with side indicators above similar to the new Indigo eCS, new fog lamps and revised front bumper. On the rear, the changes include new tail lamps, new rear bumper and and the number plate has now moved on to the redesigned bootlid. The car also gets a newly designed wheelcaps.
Under the hood, The Verito facelift will come with the same Renault 1.5 DCi CRDi diesel and 1.4 MPFI petrol engines. Like the current version, the Verito facelift may offer features like ABS with EBD, driver airbag, head restraint for all seats, side impact beams and the driver information system. The sedan is also popular in the taxi segment, as the car demands low maintenance, returns good fuel economy, has capacious interiors and comes with high reliability.
