BA readers, we told you about the Toyota Fortuner’s plans of undergoing a facelift to fall in line with Toyota’s latest design language. Now bring you another spy shot of the new Fortuner that has been leaked on the internet revealing rear looks.
The new Fortuner’s rear looks embossed on the chrome faceplate right above the registration plate, which looks very similar to the Maruti Wagon R K10. The taillight design is a lot more roundish as compared to the current Toyota Fortuner’s and looks like it mimics the basic layout of the new headlights.
The changes on the new Fortuner will purely be cosmetic, according to sources. As we have already shown you the front view of the refreshed model that mimics the bigger Prado and Land Cruiser with the chrome grille and 3D headlamps
TKM’s not officially revealed any detail Fortuner facelift as the product is doing well. The festive season is a great time to pull out the new model, but given that Fortuner still demands a waiting period means Toyota can take its time in deciding the launch time frame.
A 2012 Auto Expo entry is another possibility as the playing field will be crowded with its rivals like New Honda CR-V, 2012 Renault Koleos, Audi Q3 and new Chevrolet Captiva within the next 12 months.
