The Bikers in Indonesia and all the countries around Indonesia have always been envied by motorcyclists from around the world, as the bikers of these countries have the best equipment when it comes to motorcycles. A majority of the Indonesian population are all bikers and this is reason enough for manufacturers to give the Indonesian market all the goodies.
Yamaha YZF-R15 and YZF-R25 MotoGP Special Edition.
Indonesian bikers have been known for carrying out crazy modifications on their motorcycles and no one knows this better than Yamaha Indonesia. Yamaha Indonesia knows the tastes and preferences of the consumers in Indonesia very well and hence they always keep launching special edition motorcycles in the south Asian country.
Just a little more than a month ago, Yamaha Indonesia had launched a limited production special edition of the Yamaha YZF-R25 in which they had provided a special paint job and a performance exhaust system from Akrapovič which pleased Indonesian bikers very much indeed and all 100 units of the limited production YZF-R25 were sold almost immediately.

Looks like Yamaha Indonesia loved the response received by that special edition and have now launched two more such models. PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor manufacturing (PIMM) has recently launched limited edition models of the YZF-R25 as well as the YZF-R15 for the Indonesian market.
The two special edition motorcycles have been named Movistar edition and the Tech3 edition respectively and the changes are purely aesthetic and not mechanical. Yamaha has given both the motorcycles special livery, resembling their competition motorcycles, participating in MotoGP.

The Movistar edition takes its livery from the Yamaha M1 which is ridden by biking legend Rossi in the MotoGP world championship, and the Tech3 edition too gets its decals from a Yamaha race bike.
While the highlight of the Movistar edition is the Movistar logo on the side fairing, the highlight of the Tech3 edition is the Monster energy logo on the side fairing. The Movistar edition comes in the same blue shade as their race bike and the Tech3 edition comes in the same black shade as their other race bike.
We are pretty sure that the Indonesian biking enthusiasts will lap up all the special edition motorcycles very soon indeed. Yamaha Indonesia will be producing 3000 units of the special edition YZF-R15 and only 500 units of the special edition YZF-R25.
