In the Deccan Herald’s Bangalore edition dated on December 31, 2019, Skoda India has released an official notice stating the closure of Vinayak Skoda – a Bangalore-based authorised Skoda dealer who was in the headlines for allegedly cheating a customer.
A customer had filed a case against the said dealership in a consumer court back in October 2017 for cheating and deceiving him.
It was noticed that a stock Skoda Rapid had been converted locally to a Black Edition by the dealer. The dealer even forged invoices in order to trick the customer into believing that the car he had purchased was really a Black Edition.
