Skoda has today officially launched its latest version of Superb known as Superb Ambition in Mumbai. New Skoda superb is priced between Rs 17.66 lakh to Rs 22.08.
Superb Ambition as got good superb features like 8 airbags, head light corner function, auto dimming mirrors, ABS, EBD, TCS, ASR, HBA, EDL, 12 way adjustable front seats, dual zone climate control, NAPA leather package and retractable screens for rear window and windscreen some feature are removed like touch screen audio system, head light washers, sunroof and 6-CD changer, also the 8-spoke alloy wheels have been replaced by 5-spoke ones.
Ambition is powered by 1.8-TSI petrol motor which is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the diesel engine is the 2.0-litre TDI mated to a 6-speed automatic DSG transmission. The petrol variant is priced at 18 lakhs while the diesel variant is priced at 22.5 lakhs (prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi). For Maharashtra the petrol retails at 17,66,232 rupees while the diesel sets you back by 22,07,727 rupees (ex-showroom prices).
