To keep the momentum going, Royal Enfield will be launching Cafe Racer 500 model sometime in 2013 and its expected to be lightest Royal Enfield motorcycle ever.

The Cafe Racer 500 was unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo held in New Delhi earlier this-year. To maintain the true cafe racer style, the seat is stretched for the rider to crouch on the tank during high speed runs. Except designing and rear disk all, other features are same as Thunderbird 500 like projector headlight, fuel injection, gas-charged suspension, rear disc brake, digital LCD console. The Cafe Racer will be an important chapter in the Indian motorcycling history given that this motorcycle will be the first cafe racer to be designed, developed and launched in India.
