Renault India has stated that Duster sales have reached a total of 1,00,000 units in less than 2 years of launch, since July-2012. A winner right from the time of launch, Duster Compact SUV is the quickest in its segment to achieve sales of over 100,000 units in this time frame.
On achieving this significant milestone Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO & M.D. Renault India said –
“Renault Duster has carved a niche for itself by creating a new segment and is the reference model within the segment. We at Renault are proud to reach this milestone of having crossed one lakh Duster sales and are happy that India is contributing significantly in the overall sales of Duster globally. We thank our customers for being the proud owners and helping for contributing Renault to reach this milestone in a record time.”
In order to celebrate the momentous milestone, Renault India has today launched a ‘Duster 1 Lakh’ limited edition priced at Rs. 9.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) across the country and will be available in limited quantities only. Recently, the company has also added the 85PS (84bhp) diesel engined powered Renault Duster Adventure Edition, and is planning to launch the facelifted Duster with a 4×4 version by end-2014.
