Renault’s Duster is one of the successful cars after its launch in the Indian market. Renault’s Duster also saw decline in its sales when Ford EcoSport and Nissan Terrano (which is almost like the Duster with improved exterior) was launched in the Indian market at an aggressive price. To overcome this decline in sales, Renault had also launched the anniversary edition of Duster in the month of October last-year.
Renault Duster Adventure Edition
After all this, Renault has yet again showcased a special adventure edition of the Duster at the 2014 Auto Expo recently. In addition to the existing features, the adventure edition of the Duster also features new alloy wheels, front armour with lamps, lime green seat upholstery and fabric panels on the doors, metal finish grab handle, piano black finish on the centre console and the steering wheel, door side sill, smoked headlights, adventure decal on tall gate D-pillar, side body moulding and wheel arch cladding.
Features already available on the RXL variant such as electrically adjustable outer mirrors, MediaNav system, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, USB port, four speakers and steering mounted controls is also retained in the adventure edition as well. Coming to the technical specifications, Duster’s Adventure Edition is powered with the same 1.5L diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 110 PS @ 3,900 RPM at a maximum torque of 248 Nm @ 2,250 RPM. However Duster’s Adventure Edition would still not be available in an all wheel drive option which it is currently lagging.
