Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh who has just-turned-32 year old as gifted himself an Aston Martin Rapide S on his birthday.
The Bajirao actor was spotted driving his special set of wheels late night in Mumbai taking his rumoured ladylove and actor Deepika Padukone out for a spin. Sources familiar with the actor’s newest possession have said that the Rapide S reportedly costed him a whopping ₹ 3.8 crore, and is likely to get his signature ‘6969’ registration number for this ride too.
Ranveer’s white Rapide S will share the garage with a Jaguar XJL and a Matte-Wrapped Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class. The British brand is known for its exquisite style and powerful V12 engines, but the Rapide does one better by adding rear seats to what is essentially a sports car underneath. The Rapide S is the best selling model from Aston Martin in India with 50% of its sales volume coming from it.
Powered by the naturally-aspirated 6.0-litre V12 monstrous engine, the Rapide S spits-out 552 BHP at 6,000 rpm and 630 Nm at 5,000 rpm sending power to rear wheels via a 8-speed transmission with paddle shifters. It is the most powerful Rapide engine ever built by the automaker and helps the four door saloon sprint from 0-100 KMPH in just 4.2 seconds, yet attain a top speed of 327 KMPH.
