It is a well known fact that Bajaj Auto has been testing the new generation of pulsars for quite sometime now, and there have been quite a few spy-shots of it being tested while fully camouflaged. The Pulsar 200SS too was one of the motorcycles spotted many times while testing, and we were all led to believe that it would be launched very soon indeed when it was spotted at one of the Bajaj dealerships without any sort of camouflage on it but as it turns out, we were proved wrong.
It seems as though Bajaj has still not completed their testing process and the motorcycle is now undergoing its endurance tests. The pulsar 200SS was spotted testing again, but this time it was in the treacherous Himalayan region. It was spotted around Manali, Near Rohtang pass, which is on the way to the highest Motorable road in the world and this region will push any motorcycle to its limits, and Bajaj seems to want the exact same thing so that the product it launches can be pushed to the limits without it falling apart.
The plan is to launch the Pulsar 200SS first, but it isn’t just one motorcycle. Bajaj plans to revamp the whole pulsar range of motorcycles, and has been testing the Pulsar 150NS, 180NS, 200NS Fi and 400SS along with the 200SS. The whole range of motorcycles mentioned above have already been spotted together while undergoing testing, and this time too it looks like the whole range has been sent to the Himalayas for testing and in the picture too, one can spot the 200NS Fi and the 180NS closely following the 200SS in the Himalayas.
Bajaj has worked out their strategy for the Indian market very well indeed, their entire range of existing, as well as yet to be launched motorcycles will cover the entire two-wheeler segment in India and along with its subsidiary, KTM, Bajaj intends to obliterate the competition and we have absolutely no doubt that Bajaj will be able to do this, knowing that Bajaj always prices its products very aggressively.
We should see the launch of the new pulsar by the end of this fiscal.
