The Lamborghini Gallardo has been one of the most popular and most selling Lamb ever. Now as it gets old Lamborghini has planned to replace it with a new car, this one will be called the Lamborghini Cabrera. So far very little is known about the Cabrera and so these renderings are created by render artist from German car magazine, Auto Bild using portions from Sesto Elemento and the Aventador.
A good power to weight ratio is the key element of any sports car, to have the same a large portion of the Cabrera chassis will be composed of aluminium and carbon fibre. This will give it a great strength and yet be light on weight. The Cabrera will be powered using the existing 5.2-litre V10 engine which will be further tuned to churn out about 600 bhp. The Cabrera will be available in 2-wheel-drive (rear wheel) and a 4-wheel-drive options.
The production version of the Cabrera might be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, but a debut of the concept is expected at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show which will be happening from the 10th to 22nd of September 2013.
