We earlier reported that new Tata Indica vista is scheduled for launch on 22nd August, now the company has changed on the Independence Day, which is 15th August, 2011. The test mules of the face lift have been caught testing on a couple of occasions around Mumbai and Pune. Prices of new Indica Vista are expected to be more or less same like the 2010 Indica Vista range.
As per preliminary reports, new Tata Indica Vista will come with new front grille which it has inherited from Tata Manza besides 3 barrel head lamps on the exterior. As far as the interiors of the new and improved Tata Indica Vista is concerned, it will come with the combination of beige and black colored interiors together with audio controls mounted on steering and tachometer located in instrument panel.
The overall shape of the car remains the same. We are quite sure that the new version won’t feature any mechanical changes. The new Indica Vista will be available in 12 variants and 4 engine options. Tata has also dropped the Terra, Aqua, Aura and Aura+ names for the variants of new Indica Vista. The new variant names are LS, LX, VX and ZX for diesel variants and GLS, GLX, GVX and GZX for petrol variants.

- Safire65 – 1172cc Petrol – Max Power: 64 Bhp – Max Torque: 96 Nm
- Safire90 – 1368cc Petrol – Max Power: 89 bhp – Max Torque: 116 Nm
- Quadrajet – 1248cc Diesel – Max Power: 74 Bhp – Max Torque: 190 Nm
- TDi – 1405cc Diesel – Max Power: 70 Bhp – Max Torque: 135 Nm
