As said above the automatic variant will be available on the top-end S10 trim level of the SUV in both – two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations. Powering the Scorpio AT is the same 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder mHawk diesel engine as the manual transmission version. This engine develops 120 BHP of power and 280 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

This top-end S10 trim is equipped with static bending projector headlamps, LED eyebrows, a 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system Bluetooth, CD, DVD, USB and Aux-in connectivity and navigation, height-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, rain and light sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system and dual front airbags. The four-wheel drive version gets a Shift-on-Fly feature.

Design-wise, the Scorpio AT carries the same look as present in existing top S10 version of Scorpio, except the automatic badge placed across the body. The launch comes just a week after the launch of the new Hyundai Creta.
